Wabick allowed five hits in five and two-thirds innings while striking out five and walking none. Henry Villar relieved in the sixth, and retired the last four batters in order. The victory was Wabick's fourth without a defeat. Matt Moore (3-3) was the losing pitcher. The two homers were 26th and 27th as a Legend for Pellegrini, who hit 21 for Lexington last year. He is one short of the Lexington career mark shared by Tommy Whiteman and Justin Humphries.
The seven-inning game was played Friday night following the completion of a game suspended Thursday night. The Hot Rods won that one 4-2, as John Mollicone's three-run homer in the third inning wiped out a 2-0 Lexington lead. Tyree Hayes (3-3) got the win. Ross Seaton (6-6) took the loss. The game had been stopped Thursday night after one-half inning of play with the Legends leading 1-0.
