Lexington Junior League Inagural Pink Ribbon Night

By Lexington Junior League Posted: July 7th, 2009

LEXINGTON, KY – The Junior League of Lexington will be holding its inaugural “Pink Ribbon Night,” July 7, 2009, during this year’s Junior League Horse Show.  The Junior League of Lexington and American Saddlebred horses are doing their part to help fund the cure.

Tonight, everyone is encouraged to show their support by wearing pink.

Through sponsorships and other fundraising opportunities, the Junior League of Lexington has encouraged the Saddlebred and Central Kentucky communities to join together to raise awareness and funds for this event.  Breast cancer has touched many lives and ten million women around the world could die from breast cancer in the next 25 years if we a cure is not found.  By contributing and participating in events, such as this, you can help make an important difference in the fight to save lives.

The Junior League of Lexington, is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Our purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The Junior League of Lexington reaches out to women of all races, religions and national origins who demonstrate an interest in and a commitment to voluntarism.
