Win tickets to the Kentucky Derby and Kentucky Oaks!
By Julie McDearmon Posted: January 29th, 2010Lexington, Kentucky (January 28, 2010) – Beginning Monday, February 1, tickets will go on sale for a charity raffle to benefit the Nursing Home Ombudsman Agency of the Bluegrass, Inc. (NHOA). For $20 each, patrons can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win a grand prize of six box seats to the Kentucky Oaks race on April 30, 2010 and six box seats to the Kentucky Derby race on May 1, 2010.
Tickets may be purchased by cash, check or credit card (Discover, MasterCard & Visa only). General raffle ticket sale hours will be Monday – Friday, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. — 4:30 p.m. To purchase tickets, call the NHOA office at 859-277-9215. There is no limit to the number of tickets a person may purchase.
The winner will be drawn on Monday, March 29, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Nursing Home Ombudsman Agency, located inside the Lexington Senior Citizens Center at 1530 Nicholasville Road. NHOA provides a trained, certified Ombudsman for all residents of long-term care facilities in the Bluegrass area. They not only serve as advocates for each resident but they also identify, investigate, and work to resolve complaints made by or on behalf of all residents.
