OUTFIT OF THE WEEK: BACK TO THE FUCHSIA

Continuing our month of pink themed outfits in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month, we are taking a stroll down memory lane. This week's look is inspired by the most colorful of decades, the 80's! The star of our ensemble is a covet-worthy two-tone bonded felt coat by Milly. One of the biggest colors in the 80's was fuchsia pink. We love how the addition of black modernizes the cover-up, yet keeps the fun throwback feel of it. Keeping our underneath piece on the simple side is a LBD by the master himself, Tom Ford. No outfit is complete without a great pair of shoes and these jewel and feather detailed Sophia Webster sandals elevate the look to a whole other level. When you're wearing heels this fab, you have a great conversation starter on your hands.  Further bringing out our pops of neon is a diamante jaguar head multi-thread bracelet by Venna. We like to think of this piece as the chic girl's updated jelly bracelet. And when it came to choosing a bag, we wanted to keep things on a colorful note. This Edie Parker graphic color-blocked clutch with pearlescent hues and an abstract motif of sparkling gold flecks is the perfect complement to this electric look. Finishing things off with a little beauty is a bright pink nail laquer by Marc Jacobs. This look proves that you can revisit old trends and update them to totally make them work in a current day setting. So hop into The DeLorean and go 'Back To the Fuchsia' with us!
