OUTFIT OF THE WEEK: PUTTING IT IN NEUTRAL

As much as we love to razzle and dazzle, this week's look is all about a muted palette. Some might think a neutral influenced outfit is boring, but when done correctly, can make just as much of a statement as sequins and bold colors. While this ensemble is more on the casual side, it is just as chic as some of our dressiest frocks. We started our look with a fall essential; a yummy, chunky sweater. This one by I Love Mr.Mittens offers both warmth and style. Plus, we love how the color is a perfect marriage between blush and tan. Keeping things classic is a pair of high rise boot cut jeans by 3X1. Bringing in a little pizzazz through our accessories, these leopard-print calf hair Jimmy Choo pumps take our calm look to the next level. In recent years the saying, "leopard is the new neutral" has been plastered everywhere, and it could not be more true. Depending on the shade of leopard you go with, you can take your look in many different directions. For us it added a little bit of jungle-chic to our otherwise low-key look. For our bag, we went back to that effortlessly elegant shade of blush/tan. This Gucci chain-strap tote isn't just perfect for our outfit, but is also a great staple piece for your wardrobe. Naturally high end bags can be quite pricey, but if you love it and know you will get plenty of use out of it, they are certainly worth the splurge. No outfit would be complete without at least a hint of shimmer. No one does jewelry glamour quite like Lulu Forst. These crystal stud earrings are the perfect way to add a little twinkle. For our makeup, nothing is more polished than flawless skin. The Urban Decay Naked foundation will leave you looking fresh and luminous. Combined with a sleek ponytail, you will be the picture of relaxed sophistication.  No matter what your personal style is, when you put your look in neutral, you are sure to shine!
