Sunny White Sangria
1 bottle dry white wine 2 ripe peaches, cut into wedges
3 tablespoons sugar 3 ripe apples, cut into wedges
3 shots apple liquor 1 pint raspberries
1 lime, sliced sparkling soda water, for topping off
1 lemon, sliced
Combine sugar, apple liquor, lime, lemon, peaches and apples in a large pitcher. Cover with 1 bottle of Rioja wine and chill sangria for several hours. To serve, spoon fruit into glasses. Add a few fresh raspberries to each glass, and then pour in the wine. Top glasses off with a splash of soda water.
Grapefruit Vieux Mot
1 1/2 oz. Gin
1 oz. elderflower liquor
3 oz. grapefruit juice, fresh squeezed
1 oz. lemon juice, fresh squeezed
3 drops grapefruit bitters
Strain juices to remove pulp. Combine all ingredients in an ice filled cocktail shaker. Shake and strain into 2 glasses.
Combine Aperol, Prosecco and seltzer in a large pitcher. Pour mixture into ice-filled glasses and garnish with orange slices.
Mother's Ruin Punch
1/2 cup granulated sugar 3/4 cup fresh lemon juice
3/4 cup club soda 3/4 cup sweet vermouth
1 1/2 cups gin 2 1/4 cups champagne or sparkling wine
1 1/2 cup fresh grapefruit juice ice
Stir together sugar and club soda until sugar dissolves. Add the gin, grapefruit and lemon juices and vermouth. Refrigerate until chilled. Pour chilled mixture into a punch bowl, add champagne and garnish with grapefruit, if desired. Serve over ice.
Old Fashioned
1 bottle (750ml) bourbon
1 oz. simple syrup
10-12 dashes Angostura bitters
8 dashes orange bitters
4 oz. water
Pour bourbon into a 1 liter bottle or pitcher that can be tighly sealed. Add bitters, water and simple syrup. Seal and shake well. Refrigerate as needed. Serve over ice.
Kentucky Sunrise
1/4 cup pineapple juice
1/4 cup pink grapefruit juice
3/8 teaspoon grenadine
1/2 cup ginger ale
1/4 cup Bourbon
Combine all ingredients and shake in a cocktail shaker. Pour over ice. Garnish with a cherry. Enjoy!
Lime & Mint Fizz
24 oz. club soda
1/2 cup fresh lime juice
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups tequila
1 medium bunch of mint leaves
In a large cocktail shaker, shake mint leaves with sugar and lime juice. Strain into a small pitcher and stir in tequila. Pour cocktail over ice. Top off each drink with club soda and serve.
Ginger Shandies
3 (11.2 oz.) bottles of Hoegaarden Beer
1 (12 oz.) bottle ginger beer
1 lemon, thinly sliced
mint sprigs, for garnish
ice
Combine the Hoegaarden and ginger beer. Add most of the lemon slices to the beer. Add remaining lemon slices to 6 glasses with ice. Garnish with mint.
The Paysan
16 oz. Pinot Noir 3 oz. lemon lime soda
8 oz. cranberry juice lemon zest
8 oz. fresh orange juice lime zest
8 oz. Chambord orange zest
ice
Combine the wine, Chambord and juices; refrigerate until chilled. Stir and then poor over ice. Top off each with 1/2 oz. of sprite and garnish with zests.
Negroni Sbagliato
1 1/2 oz. sweet vermouth
1 1/2 oz. Campari
1 1/2 oz. Prosecco
Add vermouth and campari to a ice-filled cocktail shaker. Shake and then strain into a glass. Stir in Prosecco. Garnish with an orange slice if desired.
Place limeade concentrate in pitcher, add 2 1/2 cans of water and tequila. Add sliced strawberries to pitcher. Add basil. Chill overnight.
Rum Punch
80 mint leaves, sliced or torn 8 oz. mango nectar
8 oz. light rum 4 oz. pineapple juice
8 oz. aged rum ice
8 oz. fresh orange juice pineapple wedges
Combine all ingredients except ice and pineapple wedges into a large pitcher and chill. Serve over ice. Garnish with pineapple wedges.
Paloma
1/4 parts tequila 1/8 parts elderflower liquer
1/4 parts grapefruit juice ice
1/8 parts grapefruit soda lime and/or grapefruit wedges, for garnish
Stir together tequila, juice, soda and liquer. Serve over ice and garnish with fruit wedges.
