Key event planning duties would include:

1. Planning, coordinating and organizing all major association events including event speakers, facility selection and contract management.

2. Help plan event attendance and budget goals.

3. Assist in the development of conference themes and promotions in order to increase member participation.

Required experience and skills include:

1. A degree in marketing, sales or related.

2. 5-7 years of experience in operations and process/project management.

3. 3-5 years of experience in event planning.

4. Strong editing, writing and organizational skills.

5. Highly motivated and creative.

6. Strong analytical and communication skills.

7. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines

Required Education/License
Bachelor's degree preferred plus five years of related experience and/or training; or stated degree and a minimum of two years KVC HR experience with above average performance levels consistently maintained.
PHR or SPHR designation preferred.

Job Skills: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

Provide support to the Director of Hunter Programs with the development, implementation and maintenance of the USHJA hunter programs, as requested.

Keep website information current and provide content for direct emails and electronic newsletters

Act as a liaison for assigned task forces. Liaison duties include: setup and notifications of conference calls, coordination with the Chair for preparation of meeting materials, conducting research on projects in development, drafting minutes of the conference call, distribution of minutes to committee members and facilitating rule change proposals.

Assist in budget preparation.

Assigned special projects as they arise.

Maintain strict confidentiality pertaining to the all Hunter Program projects

Covers the reception area of the building as needed.
