Job summary
The incumbent fulfills the Human Resources project lead role for an assigned geographical area or subsidiary. This field HR position is an extension of the Corporate Human Resources team with a primary focus on Employment/Recruitment and Employee Relations. The incumbent works under limited supervision of the Corporate Human Resources Director.
Tasks
Includes working autonomously in a field location as well as within the Human Resources Team physically located in multiple states to fulfill complex client needs within the HR disciplines which include:
Primarily: Employment/Recruitment and Employee Relations
Secondary: Benefits, Compensation, Compliance, HRIS, and Training. In addition, special projects and other duties may be assigned.

Ability to:
*Proactively carryout work assignments based on reading and interpreting complex documents such federal, state and local employment laws, employee handbook, procedure manuals, process flows, operating and maintenance instructions, safety rules and related updates.
*Write complex reports and correspondence.
*Analyze data and provide business solutions to presented challenges.
*Solve complex problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
*Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
*Carryout instructions provided via e-mail, telephone conversations and video conference, telephone conference
and face-to-face team meetings with minimal assistance.
* Pro-actively identify challenges for assigned subsidiary timely in completing tasks and to create solutions to
resolve any barriers prior to any complications to the customer.
*Speak effectively before groups of customers or employees within the organization.
Travel Requirements
Routine travel is expected within assigned geographical area or subsidiary area as needed to complete Employment/Recruitment, and Employee Relations duties.
Routine travel required for proactive recruitment of staff such as to college campuses or career fair sites
Travel is required to other KVC locations which currently include offices in the following states: KS, KY, MO, NE, and WV. The incumbent may work in a KVC office up to two weeks before returning to his/her home location.
Required Education/License
Bachelor's degree preferred plus five years of related experience and/or training; or stated degree and a minimum of two years KVC HR experience with above average performance levels consistently maintained.
PHR or SPHR designation preferred.

Incumbent must have the ability to adjust work style and be flexible in work methods while still meeting job requirements and fulfilling required deadlines. This job requires attendance at recruiting events and will require regular standing and walking and the use of hands to finger, handle, or feel. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
