New Rooftop Garden at L.V. Harkness.
Ever since antiquity, when the first person had the notion to cultivate a garden atop a building, rooftop gardens have been used for architectural enhancement and decorative benefit. In fact, one of the original Seven Wonders of the World was a rooftop garden — The Hanging Gardens of Babylon. Known for providing small wonders on a daily basis, perhaps it was only natural that L.V. Harkness desired a rooftop garden. With the assistance of legendary landscape architect Jon Carloftis, L.V. Harkness recently cultivated their own small wonder of the world — their very own rooftop garden.
