OUTFIT OF THE WEEK: CHERRY PICKING

By Jessie L Brooks

We love a good print here at Tops, especially when that print involves charming cherries.

This week's outfit is all about embracing the fabulous fruit through fashion.

You can opt for a ladylike look with Polo Ralph Lauren's tea dress, which showcases an irreverent cherry print set against a black backdrop. With a high, tie-up neckline, gathered sleeves, a flowing skirt and a fitted waist, we're loving the retro feel of this design. For our footwear we went the strappy route, with an added touch of sweetness. Christian Louboutin's 'Blakissima 100' sandals have been crafted in Italy from glossy patent leather, featuring thin crossing straps that elegantly frame your foot and are topped with a delicate feminine bow. Offering a little edge to this outfit, we looked to an unexpected brand; Burberry. Best known for their classic plaid pieces, the British favorite has other tricks up their sleeve. An oversized logo embossed safety pin adds a touch of punk chic gleam to this cherry red luxe fold-over clutch crafted in Italy from supple pebbled goatskin leather. Staying on theme, the jewelry is just as fresh and juicy as our dress. Meticulously faceted crystals heighten the radiance of the double-cherry pendant that adorns this delicate bracelet by Juicy Couture. To polish off our look, we reached for a powerful and classic lipstick. Everyone knows you can't properly execute a cherry filled look without a poppin' red lippie. This ultra luxurious, hydrating lipstick by Lancôme feels comfortable on your lips and lasts all day. An update on the original, it includes the same formula but features a sleek, click-to-close pack. This ensemble is perfect for work or play, and will have everyone you pass wanting to go 'Cherry Picking' through your stylish wardrobe.
