Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate has earned a spot in the TripAdvisor® “Hall of Fame,” for receiving its Certificate of Excellence for five years in a row. Now in its eighth year, the achievement celebrates businesses that have earned great traveler reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.
“Our placement in the TripAdvisor Hall of Fame shows us that we continually deliver a quality visitor experience,” said Jim Clark, Executive Director of the Henry Clay Memorial Foundation. “Our staff and volunteers work hard to achieve this and we are grateful for the recognition.”
Just minutes from downtown Lexington, the Estate offers a house museum tour, walking trails, café, and beautiful gardens. The Foundation also hosts annual events that have become a valued community tradition like the upcoming Lawn Party on June 23rd, Jazz on the Lawn on Labor Day, Living History in September and the Croquet Tournament in October. A new addition to this line-up is Yappy Hour where on June 14, canines, companions and dog lovers mingle over treats and libations.
“TripAdvisor is excited to announce the recipients of the 2018 Certificate of Excellence, which celebrates experiences that have consistently received strong praise and ratings on the world’s largest travel site,” said Heather Leisman, Vice President of Industry Marketing, TripAdvisor. “This recognition allows us to publicly honor businesses that are actively engaging with customers and using feedback to help travelers identify and confidently book the perfect trip.”
The Certificate of Excellence accounts for the quality, quantity and recency of reviews submitted by travelers on TripAdvisor over a 12-month period. To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor bubble rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
