PROSPECT, KY (July 9, 2018) – Norton Commons announced today that in celebration of the opening of Kentucky Opera’s 67th season, the growing walkable, new urbanist community in Prospect, KY will play host to a unique passport party July 27 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
Kentucky Opera’s performers and musicians will hit the high notes performing the very best of opera, musical theater and standard tunes at participating establishments like Citizen 7, Mercato Italiano and Commonwealth Tap, as well as in front of Karem’s Grill & Pub, the Something Blue boutique, and The 502 Bar and Bistro. Event passports will be available at all participating stores and restaurants beginning July 20.
Attendees that have their passport stamped at all music stations will be entitled to great discounts with retailers and restaurants. The first 100 attendees to complete their passport will receive an exclusive swag bag.
It’s all building up to the excitement of the Brown Forman 2018/19 Kentucky Opera Season at the Brown Theatre. Attendees of the passport party will have the unique opportunity to purchase tickets before they go on sale to the public on Aug. 1. Single tickets to Mozart’s “The Magic Flute” and Ben Moore’s “Enemies, A Love Story” will be available for purchase during the Norton Commons passport party.
