Lexington Legends Partner With Boston College for Autographs and Photos At Shriners Hospital

Whitaker Bank Ballpark (LEXINGTON, KY) – With baseball right around the corner, the Lexington Legends are proud to team with Shriners Hospital For Children Medical Center and the Boston College baseball team to create an afternoon to remember. Boston College is in town to take on the University of Kentucky on Wednesday, but will be first making a stop at Shriners Hospital in Lexington.

“We are very fortunate to use our platform to create these community events, even though it is the Minor League Baseball offseason. The Legends organization doesn’t only function when we have a team, but 12 months a year, continuously serving our community,” says Legends President & CEO, Andy Shea.

In partnership with the Legends, the full Boston College team will be making an appearance at Shriners Hospital for Children Medical Center in the 2nd floor breezeway between 1-4 p.m. on March 4th. The team will be signing autographs and taking photos with Shriners patients.

Lexington’s Secretary and Principal, Sue Martinelli Shea, sits on the Board of Trustees for Boston College while Legends President & CEO, Andy Shea, is a former member of the Boston College baseball team and BC Alumni.
