OUTFIT OF THE WEEK: WHITE AND BLACK MAGIC

By Jesse L. Brooks

For our latest Outfit of The Week, we are going monochrome for spring. If you think wearing black during the warmer seasons is a fashion no-no, it's time to rethink that. Balancing it out with a cool, fresh shade like crisp white can make for one chic springtime look (which is exactly what we are delivering). Starting things off with this Mother of Pearl skirt that oozes femininity with its tasseled trims and smudged polka-dot print. It's made from fluid satin and has ties at the front to highlight your waist. Thanks to the split sides, you can comfortably move (or dance) in it for hours. We teamed it up with the matching camisole, which is cut from Lyocell in a slightly loose silhouette with lustrous faux pearl buttons through the front.

From head to toe, this entire look is perfect for making an entrance at a May soiree and spreading your white and black magic all around.

Adding some fun shape to our ensemble is a pair of Prada's most beloved sandals. Set on a vertiginous stiletto heel, this smooth suede pair has three precision-cut straps that are placed to flatter and support your feet. Keeping the bag elegant and extra covet-worthy is Celine's famous luggage tote. From the color-blocking to its sophisticated design, this is one of those bags that will never go out of style. We finished up by accessorizing  a beautiful black & white enamel butterfly pendant necklace by Sydney Evans, and Marc Jacobs's square acetate Daisy sunglasses. For beauty, it's all about a white hot mani/pedi and there is no better shade for that than Chanel's "Eastern Light". From head to toe, this entire look is perfect for making an entrance at a May soiree and spreading your white and black magic all around.
