Outfit of the Week: Case of the Blues

Jesse L. Brooks

This week's look is all about pulling us away from the sober state of the world right now and focusing on a whole different set of "blues." Starting with a beautiful, flowy dress sure to boost your spirit. Alexandre Vauthier's beguiling blue floral print is crafted from cotton voile and features ruched shoulders and puffed sleeves, and accents the waist with a tie sash. To pull focus to the ruffled waterfall hemline, we added a solid pair of chunky heeled sandals. Gianvito Rossi embraces bombshell glamour with modern appeal, sculpting these understated navy suede Portofino 130 sandals with a skyscraper block heel and a plateau sole. For our bag, we opted for a design that's both sweet and petite. This serene light blue Ascot clutch by The Row is crafted in the USA from lustrous silk twill with knotted handles designed to emulate the soft folds of a silk scarf. Since the cut of this dress is screaming for a necklace, we went for just a hint of sparkle with added feminine charm. This Crivelli diamond and sapphire bow necklace draw the eye without becoming an overpowering accessory. Polishing things off with a little drama is Smashbox's Always Sharp navy eyeliner. This hyper-pigmented kohl offers color-rich results with a long-wearing, waterproof, and non-flaking formula. There's no better time to shop from home and start planning those spring looks, and catch a chic "Case of The Blues."
