Ashleigh Freda
The Running Wife

Ashleigh is The Running Wife. She is a mom, wife, Coach, and runner. She maintains a small business through race marketing, an online store, and a running club with women from all over the country. She volunteers to teach writing at a local elementary school. She specializes in marketing and works with many local businesses.

Ashleigh volunteers in schools and works with a lot of community members and saw that there were a lot of families that were facing food insecurity that don’t qualify for traditional assistance. She mobilized her connections through The Running Wife Club and started gathering donations of food, toiletries, and household supplies to give out to families in Lexington and all over Kentucky. She organized a virtual race with all proceeds going directly to helping struggling families in KY. Ashleigh also organized a pop-up food bank in Carter County that helped deliver over $4000 in groceries and household items to families in need.
