OOTW: Chain Reaction

Jesse L. Brooks

We are kicking off the new year with a little fashion inspo for when things finally get back to "normal." This week we're playing up denim with a mixture of dressy-meets-casual pieces, starting with a blouse perfect for both winter and spring. As evident by the aptly named Picturesque top from Johanna Ortiz, styles with square necklines are resolutely flattering. This stretch-cotton poplin design comes in classic black for any occasion, with long gathered sleeves and shoulders with just the right amount of volume.

Whether you're working from home or still going into the office every day, we hope our Chain Reaction is a welcome distraction as we start off a hopefully much happier and healthier year!

We paired the stylish top with Current/Elliott's stiletto jeans. It serves a flawless skinny fit with cropped hems that allow you to show off your fancy footwear, and worthy they are! These beauties from Christian Louboutin take our look to a whole other level. The peep-toe style is made from black suede with metallic golden ankle ties that resemble bows atop a dazzling present.

Adding some extra glam with our bag of choice is Dolce & Gabbana's "Devotion" pearl-embellished arm candy. It's adorned with a logo-embossed sacred heart plaque, bordered with petals and peppered with faux pearls attached to a golden chain strap, demonstrating the label's passion for ornamentation. Keeping the chain love going strong with the jewelry is this chunky bracelet by Alexander McQueen. Made from gold plated metal, this accessory boasts two different chain sizes, secured with a lobster clasp.

Mixing our luxury finds with a super affordable steal are these Storycoast oversized sunglasses featuring trendy, oversized square frames. Last but not least, we tied this look together with a few coats of Chanel's Dimensions mascara, which offers the perfect balance of volume, definition, length and curl — as well as conditioning and long-wearing benefits.

Whether you're working from home or still going into the office every day, we hope our Chain Reaction is a welcome distraction as we start off a hopefully much happier and healthier year!
