Boone Contracting, founded by Lexington native Jarrod Gabbard, has been offering boutique, turn-key contracting since 2016. Concentrating on residential and multi-family remodeling and design & build construction, they are focused on turning their clients' dream projects into a reality.
Their process emphasizes blending function with personal style for a show-stopping result. Team Boone relies on a full crew, including; an Operations manager, Project Managers, Tradesmen, Engineers, Architects, Designers, and support staff. Each, the very best at what they do, helping to solidify their reputation as a trustworthy and capable group. Boone Contracting also places an emphasis on partnering with local vendors, sourcing top-quality materials for both commercial and residential projects.
When asked what sets their work apart, Gabbard reflects on his background in Corporate America and says, “I believe there are a few things which really make Boone Contracting different. First and foremost, we genuinely care for our employees. Team Boone is very much family.” With honesty and integrity at the forefront of their values as a company, Jarrod and his talented team are constantly pushing themselves with bigger and more challenging projects.
On the Commercial side, they work with property management teams and property owners to execute large-scale apartment complex renovations. Each year Boone Contracting renovates or builds 250+ apartments in Central Kentucky. Boone Contracting’s Residential Team works with clients on Design & Build projects which include: New home construction, home additions, kitchen, bath, and basement remodels.
Homeowners should consider a few things when choosing a designer or contractor for their next project. Gabbard offers some advice. “First, do your homework. It’s important to know who you’re inviting into your home and into your project. I encourage our customers to come by our beautiful office and see the investment we have made in the community. We plan to be here for many years to come and we think it shows.” Also, see if your potential contractor is a member of the BBB and check their rating. Make sure that your contractor is willing and able to pull the proper building permits.
Looking for a meaningful way to give back to Lexington, Jarrod partnered with Clay Leavell of Kitchen Concepts and Pieratt’s for the first-ever Dream Kitchen Giveaway. Reflecting on how the project took shape, Gabbard said. “Clay and I happened to get reconnected through a men's conference at our Church and began doing some projects together. We kicked around the idea of being able to use what we did in our professional lives to make an impact in our community. We considered ourselves blessed to be working during the pandemic, and yet utterly saddened for those whose lives have been turned on end.” The team awarded a $35,000 kitchen renovation to a lucky Kentucky family earlier this year.
