Jeff Piecoro, host of “Bengals Spotlight” and “Reds Live” will be the host and Master of Ceremonies for Derby Eve Lexington 2016! Mr. Piecoro is entering his 18th season with Fox Sports Ohio and 17th season as host of the EMMY award winning “Reds Live. “
A native of Lexington who grew up attending races at Keeneland, he feels honored to help support the horses by donating his time to Derby Eve Lexington. “I love the horse industry and the horses – Thoroughbreds give 100% unconditionally when they race, and they deserve to have happy productive second careers in great homes after the track. I’m honored to help in that goal” states Piecoro. “The horse industry is special to me, and I’ve loved covering 14 Kentucky Derbys and eight Breeders' Cup Championships.”
Proceeds from Derby Eve Lexington benefit Woodford Humane Society, Race for Education, New Vocations Racehorse Adoptions, and the Retired Racehorse Project. 
The 25-year broadcast veteran started his career in Lexington, Kentucky where he worked at WTVQ- TV (ABC) and WLEX- TV (NBC) as weekend sports anchor and sports reporter.
Piecoro is a 1985 graduate of The University of Kentucky where he played wide receiver for five seasons, 1980-1984. He continues to be involved with his alma mater as the color analyst for Kentucky’s football games and the University of Kentucky Big Blue radio network.
