When it starts getting chilly and gloomy outside we often start to lean on wearing darker, more subdued colors. While we love wearing black, we also like giving it a touch of life. A way to do that is to incorporate a splash of unexpected color. One of the best things about accessories is how they can totally turn your look around. This week's outfit is all about inviting bright colors into your fall/winter wardrobe. We started off our look with a classic pair of jeans by J.Brand. Not all women are denim lovers; but for the ones who are, it is essential to have a pair you can dress up or down. The 'Betty' style is a must-have with their contemporary boot cut. The gentle flare is right on point for this season's wider leg. Our top choice by Roksanda is also on the classic side.

But the exaggerated proportions make it anything but boring. The simple, round-neck body ensures all focus falls on the dramatic bell sleeves. Cold temps call for a fabulous coat! And we figured that if you are going to bundle up, you might as well do it in style! Burberry's military coat is spun from soft wool-blend with touches of luxurious cashmere. Cut in a smart, double-breasted silhouette, this sophisticated design is detailed with a black leather strap, epaulettes, and polished gold hardware. Moving onto accessories, we couldn't put together a cold weather look without a great pair of booties. Giuseppe Zanotti's 'Nappa' ankle boot adds instant edge and sexiness to your feet. Now comes the color! Gucci's 'Ghost' scarf, crafted in Italy, features a vibrant yellow print for urban-style chic. Spun with a hint of silk for extra softness, this design features a graffiti style GG print from the designer's collaboration with street artist Trouble Andrew. For an extra punch of brightness, we brought in Gucci's 'Marmont' shoulder bag. Crafted from smooth butter-yellow leather, this style features matelassé quilted detailing, creating a zigzag motif in the front and adding a heart to the back. An antique gold-tone GG logo and matching chain strap round out this piece on a luxe note. Last but never least, we polished things off with a little makeup. Getting adventurous with color can also apply to your beauty routine. When color is your drug of choice, we know where to get the good stuff. Urban Decay's Full Spectrum Eyeshadow Palette; a limited edition set featuring 21 shades of their iconic eyeshadows from bold brights to matte white. If you're looking to spice up the gray days of December, then all you need to do is say 'Hello, Yellow' and make a statement everywhere you go.
