When we think work attire and suits, we usually see shades of black, grey, and brown. But suiting up for work or an important meeting doesn't have to be boring. You can switch up your usual routine by adding color; yes color! Now not every job may allow for a conversation starter of a suit, but we figure as long as you look professional and feel great, why not go for it? For this week's outfit we decided to go pink. Hot pink! Rachel Zoe's 'Aero' blazer captures the glamorous '70s feel that is central to the label. Made from silk crepe de chine, this tailored style is fully lined for a smooth fit. We paired our jacket with matching bottoms for a complete working girl look. Cut from silk crepe de chine, these pink 'Presley' pants sit high on the waist and fall to an exaggerated wide-leg silhouette. Pressed creases give the fluid fabric a tailored finish. Bringing in a little refinement, Tibi's classic black camisole is cut from luxuriously smooth silk crepe de chine with a loose silhouette. An effortless layering piece, this lightweight style is designed with a slim racer-back. For our shoe choice, we went the girl boss route with a statement making pump. Sophia Webster's 'Boss Lady' heels send a cheeky message that you are all business. As for a touch of arm candy, Prada's 'Greca' tote combines our two colors of focus and can easily be carried in or outside office hours. We sealed our lady of power look with a pretty pink kiss. Keeping our lipstick a bit more on the muted side, Kat Von D's Everlasting Liquid Lipstick collection is known for its bold color variety. But this blush rose shade adds a pop of pink without overpowering the rest of your makeup, or your look as a whole. In this outfit you can channel your inner Samantha Jones (I know we have some Sex and the City fans out there!) and feel well suited behind the desk or wherever your job takes you.
