If there is one award show that always brings the unexpected, it's the Grammys. While this year's ceremony was more subdued on the red carpet, there were still a variety of memorable looks. Jennifer Lopez has been one to watch at the Grammys since her iconic Versace moment back in 2000. This year Jen played it a little less sexy, but still remained a showstopper. Bringing a softer turn on fashion drama in a lavender Ralph & Russo couture piece complete with a thigh high split, plunging neckline and statement making tulle neck piece. Adele also took our breath away in her custom-made Givenchy gown. The light shade of olive perfectly complements her alabaster skin and honey toned hair, and hugs her curves in all the right places. Risk-taker Rihanna is also one to never go unnoticed, especially at the Grammys. This year the Barbados born beauty wowed in a Armani Privé two set, that was sexy on the top, and princess on the bottom. The tangerine sequin halter and layered ball gown skirt were what Grammy fashion dreams are made of. Riri topped off her look with flawless makeup and beautiful cascading curls. The BAFTA awards in London were also filled with A-List glamour and top notch style. "Fences" nominee Viola Davis was a vision in Jenny Packham blue, while Amy Adams kept up her Tom Ford streak in a scoop back deep emerald creation. Emma Stone wore a beautifully beaded Chanel Couture number, which she paired with matching twinkling trousers. We realize the pants won't be everyone's cup of tea, but they make for a fun conversation starter. These looks prove exactly why award season is our favorite time of year in Hollywood.
