The 89th Annual Academy Awards were held last night in Hollywood and all the beautiful attendees brought the fashion and glamour. One of the biggest trends of the evening were gold and nude tones, with very little color in between. Best Actress winner Emma Stone blew us away in a custom made flapper inspired Givenchy Couture gown. The "La La Land" stunner paired her golden fringe with old Hollywood waves and a rich brick lip. Teen queen Hailee Steinfeld stole our hearts in Ralph & Russo at the Golden Globes, and she came back for seconds at the Oscars. 'The Edge of Seventeen' actress donned a dreamy creation by the designing duo, complete with delicate ruffles and floral applique. "Hidden Figures" star Taraji P. Henson looked classic, yet still very sexy in a Alberta Ferretti custom design. This was a departure from her usual style, and is hands down our favorite red carpet look from her yet. At the Vanity Fair party "Pitch Perfect 3" director Elizabeth Banks delivered one of our favorite looks of the evening. Her show-stopping Elie Saab Couture gown was dripping with embellishment, accompanied by a lovely floral design. Best Supporting Actress winner Viola Davis brought a much needed splash of red via her curve-hugging Armani Privé creation. The dress was almost as beautiful as her heartfelt acceptance speech. "Moonlight" nominee Naomie Harris may not have worn our favorite dress of the event, but her Calvin Klein shoes had us drooling. Not only did they offer an unexpected pop of color to her all white aesthetic, we're slightly obsessed with the switcheroo rhinestones on each sandal. The Oscars close what has been a whirlwind of an awards season, and there's no better note to leave it on. To see all 10 of our favorite winning looks visit our Best Dressed gallery above.
