These families should also inquire at the box office about becoming a member of the Legends JIF Kids Club. Members receive special benefits such as: exclusive events with the team, discounts at the Legends Stache Shoppe, a photo opportunity in the Legends dugout and many more.  Additional information is available at lexingtonlegends.com.   All kids are welcome to run the bases after each Sunday home game as well.  New for 2018 on Sundays: gates will open thirty minutes earlier and families are invited down to the outfield for open play time to enjoy field games and photo opportunities with Legends players.

There will also be lots of baseball under the sun in 2018.  Sunday games will begin at 2:05pm.  Two STEM Education Day games are set for April 11 and May 9 with a Day Camp/Splash Day set for June 13, all of which begin at 10:35am.  All other Wednesday games will be afternoon games, with first pitch at 1:05pm.

The Legends are proud to offer two new exciting nights; Sensory-Friendly Nights on May 13 and June 11, that will feature gates opening early for all families with children with autism and other special needs to enjoy the time-honored tradition of baseball with time in the kids play area and a meet and greet with Big L and the team.  This sensory-friendly time in Whitaker Bank Ballpark will have no loud music or Public-Address announcements and will be limited to only sensory-friendly needs families.

Legends will also be offering Sensory-Friendly Kits for fans to pick up at Guest Services throughout the course of the season.  The kit includes noise reducing ear covers, antiglare glasses, a communication card, an identification wristband, a venue map and a fidget toy.  For more information on Sensory-Friendly Nights or kits, contact Sarah Bosso at [email protected].
