If there is one classic color combo we can never get enough of, it's black and white.
The stylish pairing always exudes an air of effortless chic.
This week we are combining those colors with a staple print; polka dots. This Monique Lhuillier Abstract Dot Printed Top features a strapless V-neck with a peplum silhouette and an asymmetrical hem. A piece like this has the ease and elegance to easily be worn from day to night with the simple addition of a jacket and sunglasses. But for this, we matched it up with Monique Lhuillier's Suiting High Waisted Pant, featuring a straight leg silhouette with an extended waistband and a pleated front. For shoes, we wanted something understated yet still eye-catching. Gianvito Rossi's clear PVC and off-white smooth leather Plexi pumps are detailed with a black grosgrain pointed cap toe. Introduced in 2014, this revealing design is meant to showcase the elegant shape of the foot and leg. Since our dotted top will leave us with bare shoulders, it's the perfect opportunity for a statement drop earring. Oscar de la Renta's black & white tassels offer the perfect amount of drama without stealing the show. Adding a touch of edge via our bag, Valentino's VLTN design is a little a bit rock n' roll with a splash of Park Avenue. Signature rock studs spike the quilted lambskin leather of a structured top-handle satchel secured by a leather covered logo twist lock at the flap. To lighten the look a bit, we opted for the white version to add some contrast to the dark jewelry. When it came to beauty, we wanted matte lined eyes that would deliver a subtle, yet sexy look. Christian Louboutin's Velvet Eye Definer provides bold colour usually reserved for ultra-dense kohl liners of the pharaohs, and it lasts all day with no transfer. Any designer loving fashionista could rock this ensemble for a number of occasions, but wherever you chose to take it for a spin, you can guarantee you'll have everyone playing 'Connect The Dots".
