This is the inaugural event for the newly established James Baker Hall Foundation - founded to honor the legacy of beloved Creative Writing U of K Professor and Photographer, James Baker Hall who passed away in 2009. The mission of the Foundation is to support and promote programs in Kentucky that will develop our up-and-coming writers and photographers. Poetry and creative writing Kentucky powerhouses will be on hand to recite their work and stories: Robert Gipe, Maurice Manning, Marta Miranda-Straub, Frank X Walker and Cecilia Woloch.
