President Wilson established Veterans Day as a day of parades and public meetings, now almost 100 years later Veterans are being honored for their service in fun and inspired ways at Red Mile this year.
An all day celebration for veterans is planned on Veterans Day (Nov. 11) at Red Mile, and will kick off with live entertainment in their Grand Atrium. Patriotic music, square dancers, cloggers, a banjo player, and a magician will perform starting at noon. The Tom Cool trio will end the day of entertainment with patriotic music from 5p.m. to 7p.m.
Veterans will be given a free T-Shirt to honor their service to our country. All other attendees can receive a T-Shirt by earning ten points with a Red Mile Rewards card.
A photo booth will also be set up for guests to take pictures with girls dressed up in 1940’s costumes. The facility will be decorated accordingly and every guest will receive red white and blue beads. Red Mile will also be honoring their team members who are veterans.
Veterans Day at Red Mile will celebrate all of our veterans. Come out to Red Mile this Veterans Day for your red white and blue celebration.
