OUTFIT OF THE WEEK: DRESS CASE SCENARIO

By Jesse L. Brooks

We are always on the hunt for the perfect fall dress, and this week we do believe we have met our match. Madewell's 'Jane' design is printed with brushstroke flowers, placed to mimic a bouquet being tossed. Designed with a flattering wrap effect front, this elegant georgette piece is finished with sheer sleeves and a fluid maxi skirt. And nothing says fall like a great pair of boots. In a rich burgundy hue, Sonia Rykiel's knee-high boots perfectly anchors autumnal looks. They're crafted in Italy from smooth leather and shaped with a flattering curved-point toe with an elevating tapered high heel. They'll look most elegant peeking from beneath our colorful, airy dress. Now for a bit of arm candy, the Céline luggage tote has easily been one of the most covet-worthy bags of the last few years, so it seemed like the perfect addition to our look. Marigold grained calfskin leather with gold-tone hardware is a beautiful complement to our fall vibe. We stuck to our floral theme when it came to jewelry, adding the Gucci gold metal crystal ring. A statement piece is always a good investment, especially one that can be worn with a variety of looks. While our outfit can easily be worn day or night, we thought a chic pair of sunglasses would be a stylish add-on. Chloé's 'Nerine' leather wrapped frames with polished metal accents and oversized lenses make these a must-have accessory. As always, we wrapped things up with a touch of beauty. For this outfit we wanted to pay attention to our nails, staying on trend with our fall palette. Deborah Lippmann's 'Single Ladies' is a rich red brown lacquer that will instantly add personality to not only your nails, but to your outfit as well. Whether you are taking this look for a spin while out to lunch, for a day at the office, or perhaps dinner with friends and your significant other, in this look you will have the 'Dress Case Scenario' wherever you go.
