Where to Watch the Game

KSBar

1030 S. Broadway • 859.554.6081 • KSBarandGrille.com

When the folks who bring us Kentucky Sports Radio announced that they were going to start a sports bar, there was never any doubt that every aspect of the joint was going to be catered to the fans. Plenty of TVs, ample seating, truly great food and a fantastic atmosphere make KSBar one of a kind. Their wings are great with tons of sauce options, or their Ultimate BBQ Sampler Platter (according to the menu, “even the ’96 team thinks this squad is loaded.) Best of all? It’s a short jaunt from Rupp Arena and Commonwealth Stadium, so it’s a hot spot before, during and after the game.

Locals’ Craft Food & Drink

Going out with someone who isn’t a fan of the ol’ sportsball? Locals is a fantastic neighborhood joint where everyone in your party will feel welcome on game night and every night. Great cocktails, delicious food and an atmosphere that doesn’t scream “sports bar” makes it a fantastic choice in the Warehouse Block area. Try the Sportsman sandwich, featuring craft beer battered white fish, Bibb lettuce, tomato slices and a cilantro lime mayo, or order some Lamb Chop Pops for the table.

Their Black & Blue Flatbread features blackened steak, carmalized onions, caramelized mushrooms, mozzarella, Danish blue cheese, arugula and a sweet Balsamic glaze, or share their Beer Cheese Nachos, which you can top with Green Chicken Chili or their Signature Chili.

Marikka’s

411 Southland Dr. • 859.275.1925 • MarikkasLex.com

Marikka’s bier garten is sure to get rowdy on game nights with plenty of tvs and a fun, casual beer hall vibe. Grab your choice of “wurst”, served on a brioche or pretzel bun, or der Uber Grosse Pretzel with German mustard and beer cheese. Pair it all with something from their impressive list of beers (and see if one of the volleyball courts is open for some extra fun).

Double Dogs
