Lexington, KY (February 26, 2020) – Lexington Mayor Linda Gorton issued a proclamation calling for the observance of Campbell House Day on February 25, 2020. Following the Lexington landmark’s multimillion-dollar renovations, The Campbell House now has an official day dedicated to celebrating its longstanding history to the community and newly transformed space.
“The Campbell House has grown up in a beautiful way,” said Mayor Gorton at the hotel’s after- hours event yesterday evening. “I thought this proclamation was a great opportunity to recognize the hotel and its commitment to Lexington.”
The declaration of Campbell House Day pays compliment to the assortment of guests served and events hosted since its opening in 1951. Today the property features updated guest rooms and hallways, expanded fitness facility, and a new restaurant and bourbon bar, The Rackhouse Tavern.
