Danielle Harlan has worked in many practice areas including transactions, labor and employment, civil rights, property, products liability, intellectual property, insurance defense, SEC, coal and many more. Danielle’s main focus with Fowler Bell will be the firm’s Creditors’ Rights and Bankruptcy department and litigation.

Mary Porter McKee is bringing the firm’s Real Estate department to full force! Mary has a strong background in regulatory interpretation and compliance, commercial lending, commercial real estate development, business management, residential real estate, residential lending, and contract negotiation.

Teresa T. Combs served as General Counsel to several school districts before being recruited by the Kentucky School Boards Association (KSBA) to provide Special Education and Section 504 Legal Services to school districts and educational cooperatives. Teresa provides training, procedures, publications and advice in difficult areas of law to school district staff, attorneys, and numerous organizations. She expanded her services at KSBA to provide training in General Education law, General Employment law, and the Americans with Disabilities Act. She has served on numerous educational committees and helped draft regulations in complex areas of education law. She is well known throughout Kentucky for her practical advice on navigating laws affecting schools. She advises a large number of school districts and educational co-ops in Kentucky and surrounding states.

Aziza Ashy-Jones joined the firm’s workers’ compensation and litigation groups with a focus on representing employers and their insurers. Aziza enjoys the challenges brought by each individual case as each injury and scenario is different. The privilege of working with all parties to reach a workable resolution is one that takes persistence, creativity, and finesse.
