Key Assets Kentucky Adds New Member To Its Leadership Team


Lexington, KY – Key Assets Kentucky is proud to announce the hiring of Brandt Briggs, who serves as the Behavioral Health Director, a growing division within the organization.

Briggs brings a wealth of experience and background critical to ensuring the mission of Key Assets Kentucky – achieving positive and lasting outcomes for children, families, and communities – is accomplished.

As Behavioral Health Director, Briggs is responsible for helping the organization continue to provide quality counseling and therapy services for all ages, backgrounds, income, and circumstances. Services are provided in a variety of community settings, in the Lexington offices, and via telehealth. A primary focus of service delivery is to prevent unnecessary hospitalizations for clients with co-occurring mental health diagnoses.

Briggs is pursuing a Ph.D. in Counseling Education and Supervision and has several years of experience in many areas of social service. He began his career in school-based settings and has a background in working with children and families in foster care, ultimately serving in a dual role as therapist and director of mental health services for a provider in Eastern Kentucky. He also has certifications in various counseling service areas as a testament to his commitment to ensuring he is well-versed to meet multiple client needs.

While a Louisiana native, he attended college and has worked most of his professional life in Kentucky. He is an avid UK fan, is married, and enjoys outdoor activities and attending sporting events.

"I'm excited that Brandt is a part of our Leadership Team and know that his work will have a daily and lasting impact on the people we serve. It's an honor to lead a progressive and expanding team to meet the increasing needs facing children, youth, and families in the Central Kentucky area," stated Executive Director Jennifer Hall. "While this year has presented challenges for all of us, we've remained steadfast in our commitment to meet the mental health needs of our community," Hall continued.
