CREAMY SRIRACHA SHRIMP TACOS WITH ASIAN SLAW


 

Ingredients:

Three 4-inch flour tortillas
Fried shrimp (packaged is fine)
Creamy Sriracha Sauce
Asian Slaw
Cilantro
1oz. fresh jalapenos
1oz. fresh garlic
olive oil
salt to taste


Asian Slaw:

Napa cabbage, shredded
Red onion, thinly sliced
Red cabbage, shredded
Red bell pepper, thinly sliced


Creamy Sriracha Sauce:

1 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup Thai sweet chili sauce
Sriracha hot chili sauce to taste


Vietnamese Vinaigrette:

1/2 cup Lemon juice
1/2 cup tamari or soy sauce
1 1/2 cup lime juice
1/2 cup fish sauce
1 cup mirin (Japanese rice wine)
1 bunch cilantro, chopped
1 red bell pepper, minced
1 hot pepper such as jalapeno, minced
2 shallots, minced
6 garlic cloves, minced
1 stalk lemongrass, grated
Zest of 2 limes


Directions:

For the Creamy Sriracha Sauce: Add all ingredients together in a small bowl and stir.

For the Vietnamese Vinaigrette: Add all ingredients to blender and blend until smooth. Toss with sliced vegetables.

Assemble fried shrimp, slaw, sauce and accompaniments  into the tortillas. Serve immediately.
