We are a modern southern-inspired restaurant serving a seasonally crafted menu. Stop in for a quick & nourishing breakfast, indulge in our weekend brunch, or gather with your loved ones for our daily supper. You’ll be served an experience full of true southern hospitality.
We handpick our ingredients based on the season, the farmers we know, and the flavors we love. We weave hints of bourbon throughout the menu, paying tribute to our Kentucky roots. Our craft cocktail program, curated bourbon list, and selection of wine and local brews will start your night off right, and further complement your meal.
So come on in! We’ve thought of every detail to cook up an experience you’ll love.
We’re a bit like our hometown: sophisticated, well-traveled, but grounded in our roots. We believe there’s nothing more important than taking time to dine well with family and friends in a beautiful space. And we have a passion for all things Bluegrass - curing our meats in-house, supporting the region’s diverse farming and food community, and keeping a local-first mindset in everything we do.
Epping’s is located in a renovated historic building that once held Epping Bottling Works, home to the hustle and spirit of local entrepreneur John G. Epping. Today, we are proud to honor that history and be part of the energy of downtown Lexington’s Warehouse Block.
Lexington’s own celebrity Chef Jonathan Lundy & business partner/Certified Sommelier TJ Cox, co-owners of Corto Lima, have once again partnered with Lee Greer, President of Greer Companies, to develop ItalX, an avant-garde Italian restaurant coming soon to City Center at 160 West Main Street.
The team draws inspiration from Italy’s emphasis on simple, fresh, quality ingredients and inspired hospitality in a warm and inviting space. A twist on traditional Italian fare, the menu will feature multiple scratch-made pastas, reimagined small plates, vegetarian and gluten-free offerings, and everyone’s favorite desserts. Popular Italian dishes will be reinvented with elegant presentation.
